Mid Atlantic Auction Park was licensed and started operating in September of 2009 as a public facility to provide access for buyers and sellers both wholesale and retail to have a central location to buy and sell in a new and exciting venue. We are attempting to combine the on site auction with a web presence to create a marketplace for buyers and sellers to aggregate merchandise at a central location to be displayed on site and online. Our local facilities are open daily for information, viewing, and sales. Offering lots of storage area we have 15 acres behind security fence and 18,000 square feet of warehouse storage with 3 auction bays. As an added benefit, on our property we have partnered with vehicle service and repair establishment to perform towing/transportation, full auto and auto body service, repossession, and vehicle inspection. The facility is within half a mile of the Goldsboro, NC airport and 4 miles from Goldsboro city center.
Since this year began we have sold many privately owned properties and a mobile home park, and are preparing for the arrival of our inventory of 2006 single wide FEMA mobile homes.
On Dec 3rd 2009 we sold a warehouse for 275K that the seller was expecting 100 to 125K. Again, aggressive marketing on our behalf gave the seller a far greater return than expected.
On Oct 15th 2009 we sold a group of Freightliners and dry box trailers through this facility for the US Bankruptcy court. According to nationwide results, the equipment brought more money here than anywhere else when the same type of inventory had been sold. We feel it was due to the aggressive marketing and the ability to simultaneously bid online.
While we may be new to the auction industry our decades of experience in retail sales/development and world class alliances give a seller a fresh approach to collateral recovery and disposition and a buyer a new opportunity for getting the most out of their money.
