Novasmic, manufacturer of promotional items for the North American industry becomes i-nova

May 6, 2010 - PRLog -- Novasmic, a well-known manufacturer of promotional items, ceased to exist on May 1st, 2010,   leaving its place to i-nova.  Best known for its high precision mousepads and repositionable stickers, Novasmic will transfer its clients’ base to i-nova who will continue to produce the same type of products but with an even larger variety of items available.

Novasmic was originally created more than thirteen (13) years ago as a division of Nova France, a company based in Novalaise, France. However, under French management, the company was never able to fully bloom. It finally came under management by Luc Bégin, a North American born and raised in the market seven (7) years ago and was finally bought by him from Nova France more than three (3) years ago.

Since then, the company was able to become profitable and develop new markets as well as new products. To complete the change and to ensure profitability, Novasmic severed its ties once and for all with its ex parent company more than six (6) months ago.

This last move enabled Novasmic to reduce the costs of its products while keeping its high standards of quality. It also enabled it to provide better leading time for its orders by attaching itself to more efficient partners in the production of its various items. Today, i-nova produces more than 80% of its items in Montreal (balance from various countries in Europe).

In addition to its office in Montreal, i-nova has recently opened an office in Los Angeles, CA. It will also shortly be producing both its mousepads and its repositionable stickers in California to better serve its western clientele (both in Canada and the US). In the short term, i-nova also plans to develop the central and South American market while looking at the possibility of opening an office in Mexico before the end of the year 2011.

The development of a new website is underway. It will simply consist of downloadable pdf files that distributors will be able to download and customize with their own information so as to show the technical aspects of i-nova’s products to its clientele. i-nova, like its predecessor Novasmic will only be selling to distributors of promotional items.

i-nova is proud to open its doors with the launch of  two (2) brand new mousepads on the market. The 20/20 Pro is a mousepad with depth and 3D+ effects never seen before in any mousepad (also available in desk pad sizes) while the MPT is an evolution on the speckles technology, modified in order to create micro-speckles that still ensures the best mousing precision in the world of mousepad while producing  impeccable visuals.
