Iliad announced its results for the first quarter of 2010. The company had 4.5 million ADSL subscribers, it added 48.000 subscribers in the quarter.
The status of second adsl operator after Orange, the incumbent operator, is threatened by SFR, which will publish its results soon. Orange claimed it had 14.1% of acquisition market share with 57.000 new customers. Thus, the total acquisition market in Q1 2010 in France is about 404.000 subscribers. It means that SFR and Bouygues Telecom shared about 300.000 new subscribers, which should allow SFR to take the second place from Iliad.
