Woods Fronts More Rumours

May 5, 2010 - PRLog -- Tiger Woods has denied taking performance-enhancing drugs in a news conference yesterday.

In an unofficial survey of PGA Tour Players, 24% suspected Woods of using the illegal drugs to boost his performance on the green.

However, Woods dismissed this line of thought and added he had never taken anything like that, and seemed unfazed what others thought about it.

Suspicions have grown since it has come to light that he received treatment last year from Canadian doctor Tony Gallea, who is under investigation by American and Canadian authorities for supplying doping products to athletes.

On the subject of his coach, Woods confirmed that he is still working with Hank Haney, his swing instructor of almost eight years, as there have been rumours circulating for some time that he is on the verge of ditching him.

Woods played some of the worst golf of his life in Charlotte last week, which fired up the rumour mill further.

He also spoke of the difficulties of concentrating on his golf as he copes with the fallout of his affairs and tries to bring his life back into order, comparing it to when his father died in 2006.
