Xperia
The new firmware is for unbranded models of the Xperia X10 and includes a host of features and improvements.
Improvements include: Small UI changes to Mediascape and Timescape, improvements to the Face Recognition feature, much needed improvements to battery life - which has been a sore point with current owners and general performance improvements.
Additions include: Neat animations when browsing pictures and the addition of a new app called Creatouch, which allows customisation and creation of content for the X10, such as wallpapers and screensavers.
The new firmware is should be available in the week or so and owners should connect their Xperia X10 to their PC using the PC companion software in order to receive notification of whether the new update is available yet.
