In what is becoming the most 'intriguing movie of the year', pastors, politicians, intellectuals, scientists and Hollywood stars will join more than 500 people and hundreds of grass roots groups from more than 10 countries to see if one man can defeat Satan in court.
"The film's site has already received over 740 friends from around the world on Facebook in just over a week," says a spokesman for Mouthwatering Productions. "We've also received over 1.5 million impressions."
The film stars Malcolm McDowell (who plays Satan), Shannen Fields ('Facing The Giants'), Corbin Bernsen, Tom Sizemore, Bart Bronson, Ros Gentle, Rebecca St. James. The story is about a man who sues the devil for $8 trillion. The Christian Post wrote, "Suing the Devil” has generated excitement among those who have caught wind of it, with some describing it as a cross between C.S. Lewis’ classic tale 'The Screwtape Letters' and Hollywood blockbuster “A Few Good Men.”
"We hope the movie will awaken the sleeping, faith-based community into Satan's strategies and show that we can overcome evil through Christ," says the film's director, Tim Chey.
The film opens nationwide in the U.S. on January 2011.
