Google has decided to launch a Digital Book Store with the name “Google Editions” in coming days. Is it going to take over Apple and Amazon with its e-book store? Are we going to have another Techology War?
“Google Editions” will be a browser based service. The buyer will be able to access cached version of the books purchased. The Cloud will be there to store your purchased Books.
Wall Street Journal reported that Google is planning to launch a Digital Book Store likely by June. Google is already providing a book service known as Google Books from where users can read the books online without being able to download.
Books on Google Editions will be accessible through any e-reader, mobile and from any computer system without any restriction of specific device.
