A who’s who from the sports world as well as entertainment and media celebrities will play in the Ahmad Rashad Golf Classic to be held June 27-28 that will benefit White Plains Hospital Center.
Confirmed participants are O.J. Anderson and Curtis McGriff, New York Giants Super Bowl champions; Sean Fister, long drive champion; Allan Houston, former shooting guard for the New York Knicks; Charles Oakley, power forward in the NBA; John Campbell, Hall of Fame harness driver; John MacLean, Devils legend and NHL Stanley Cup champion; Maurice Dubois, co-anchor of CBS 2 News This Morning; actors Aidan Quinn and Kevin Sorbo and others will take to the links at the Quaker Ridge Golf Club, Scarsdale, New York.

Rashad is the host of NBA TV's Wednesday night show, "All Access with Ahmad.” A graduate of the University of Oregon, where he was an All-American, Rashad was the 1995 recipient of the university's Pioneer Award, the highest honor given to an alumnus, and serves on the Board of Trustees for the university. A three-time All-Conference selection, Rashad set 14 school records and was the only player ever to lead the Pac-10 in scoring at two different positions (running back, wide receiver).
