Jim McDonald recently joined Rypos as its National Sales Manager. McDonald will lead the sales team across all diesel particulate filter market segments with a focus on expanding distribution channels to make product access easy and efficient for the customer. Rypos, Inc is the leader in the design and manufacturing of active exhaust control systems for the reduction of harmful emissions from diesel engines. McDonald will be based at Rypos' new Philadelphia regional office.
Prior to Rypos, Mr. McDonald was co-founder and Eastern US Sales Manager for MIRATECH Corporation, a provider of emission control solutions for stationary industrial engines. In this previous role, he sold the first Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) products into the US and Canadian markets.

Mr. McDonald graduated from the University of Delaware in 1988 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has served on industry panels as an expert on pollution control technology and regulatory development and testified before the Environmental Protection Agency regarding pollution control devices. McDonald also authored a chapter on engine emissions in The On-Site Power Generation Reference Book published by the Electrical Generating Systems Association and is an instructor in their advanced training program.
