Announces “China 2010 Trip – An Adventure of a Lifetime”
New Haven, CT (May 6, 2010) -- The Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce (GNHCC) is now offering a nine-day, all-inclusive trip to China in fall 2010 and the entire community to join them on this incredible adventure. GNHCC will hold an informational session about the trip on Wednesday, May 12, 5:30 p.m. at the GNHCC offices, 900 Chapel St., 10th Flr., New Haven, CT.
The nine-day, seven-night China trip runs from September 24- October 2, 2010 and costs $2099 for Chamber members, $200 additional for non-members. It includes charter bus to and from JFK International Airport, round-trip air to China, airport tax and air transfers, 4 and 5 star hotel accommodations, hotel taxes, three meals daily, deluxe bus tours, English speaking tour guides, and admission tickets to tourist spots.
The trip’s itinerary will include visits to Beijing, Tian An Men Square, the Temple of Heaven, the Palace Museum, Forbidden City, the Summer Palace, Kunming Lake, Longevity Hill, Seventeen-Arch Bridge, Marble Boat, The Great Wall, and Ming Tombs. After a flight to Shanghai and bus trip to Suzhou, the tour continues to the Lingering Garden, Tiger Hill, Hanshan Temple, the National Embroidery Institute, a boat cruise on West Lake, Yu Garden, and a business visit to the Pudong economic development zone.
Travelers are encouraged to secure space early. Price is based on double occupancy. A $200 per person non-refundable fee is due at time of registration and is included in the total fare. The deadline to sign up is July 1, 2010. A valid passport is required. All travelers must have a Chinese Visa. Travelers may obtain their own visa or may obtain one through the GNHCC at an additional cost of $180 per person.
