May 4, 2010 - PRLog -- Hollywood, CA – Yay Robot is pleased to announce the May 7 release of iHateIt Free, the free lite version of the iHateIt Personal Disapproval Assistant iPhone app.  In conjunction with the release, the full version is on special until May 17.

Imagine telling your jerk boss that you hate his idea, or screaming at a boring person at a party to shut up, or making pig noises when your girlfriend keeps pestering you asking if she looks fat, or telling a teacher who's picking on you to “bite me.”  And imagine doing it all in the funniest way possible.  If you have the guts, that is exactly the sort of fun you can have with the iHateIt Personal Disapproval Assistant iPhone app.

“It's like having your very own personal Simon Cowell in the palm of your hands,” says Yay Robot owner Charles Horn, the app creator and an Emmy-nominated comedy writer.  “I was aiming for the feel of a talking keychain toy, where friends can have endless fun zinging each other with snarky sounds and phrases.  Except I wanted to have way more sounds, grouped in themed pages, that you could easily slide in and out as needed.”

iHateIt Free comes with three starter sounds, while the full app comes with sixty sounds, with five themed pages and twelve sound buttons per page.  The themes are: iHateIt, Bombs Away, Shut Up, All-Naturally Annoying, and Snark & Stuff.  The full app also contains a page where you can record and re-record your own sounds over and over again.

iHateIt Free is available on the App Store starting May 7, and the iHateIt Personal Disapproval Assistant is on special right now for 99 cents until May 17.

There's also a web series where you can see it in action.
