Haiti's Jem On Set With Melyssa Vazquez

May 3, 2010 - PRLog -- MAY 3, 2010 (NEW YORK)- Boston's own Jem has done it again! On Saturday, Jem teamed up with Director Melyssa Vazquez of Shoe Box Story Productions, a Savannah College graduate, to bring the powerful hit single "Earthquakes" that is gracefully climbing the charts to a visual perceptive.

Jem transitioned to Miami, Florida at the tender age of 9 and settled in Brockton, Massachusetts after witnessing some gruesome and unforgettable series of events during a coupe in his native, Haiti.

Jem wrote and produced "Earthquakes" as a way to pay homage to the victims that lost so much in his hometown, Port- au-Prince, Haiti. The song provides strong sensory details, placing the audience in the middle of the tragedy. The single is available via iTunes for .99, Keyword: JEM EARTHQUAKES.

Shoebox Story Productions scouted a great location that embodied the gruesomeness so familiar to Jem, parallel to his native Haiti. The video will act as a symbolic representation of Haiti's strength before and after the tragic earthquake.

While in New York, Jem secured a spot to rock the stage tonight at Serenity Lounge, 6697 Broadway in Bronx, NY 10471. This is a an elite industry event put on by Power 105; a Power Is Industry event.
