Ariston has increased its guarantee period from two years to five years as standard on all models in the CLAS HE and GENUS HE boiler ranges, including the CLAS HE R. This applies to those boilers that have been shipped in 2010 with the new 5 year warranty period clearly stated on the packaging. All models purchased that are not marked in this way were in the distribution chain prior to the introduction of the new 5 year guarantee on the 1st January 2010 and therefore benefit from the previously existing two year guarantee with the option to purchase the 5 year guarantee separately. The introduction of the new 5 year guarantee period built-in to the very latest models as described, demonstrates Ariston’s commitment to its customers as well as the high quality of these products.

This is not the first time Ariston has taken the initiative to offer longer guarantees. In 2004, they were the first boiler company in the UK to offer a five year guarantee on a domestic boiler with the Ariston Aco range. Ariston’s current boiler ranges have proved to be incredibly reliable as well as highly efficient and their impressive performance has also been acknowledged by the UK’s leading independent consumer body, who awarded the ‘Best Buy’ in September 2008 to the GENUS HE 24 combi.

The CLAS HE and GENUS HE ranges are the new generation of boilers, offering significant energy savings for householders. This is due to the innovative AUTO Function, a unique, one-touch boiler control system integral to these boilers. When activated, the AUTO Function will automatically choose the ideal temperature for the central heating circuit by gradually increasing that of the system water until the room reaches the set temperature. As a result, temperature control is achieved smoothly, minimising thermal stress on the boiler and optimising efficiency. When linked to appropriate controls, the AUTO Function can save over 10% of the fuel that would be consumed by a ‘A rated’ standard boiler, whilst delivering enhanced domestic comfort.

The CLAS HE R regular (open vent) boiler is the most recent addition to the CLAS HE range, available in 12,18 and 24kW outputs. CLAS HE R offers a valuable option where a combination or system boiler with unvented cylinder is not appropriate. As with the entire CLAS HE range, these boilers are stylish-looking and compact, making them ideal in limited space. CLAS HE boilers are also available as System and Combination models, with outputs ranging from 24kW to 38kW.

The GENUS HE combi boiler features an advanced yet easy to use control panel with a large digital display showing comprehensive information on the boiler’s operation, ensuring ease of use for the householder. This model is available in 24, 30 and 38kW outputs.

Both ranges feature low NOX and are compatible with a wide range of Ariston controls and accessories, which can be used to further enhance the efficiency of the AUTO Function.
