Japanese samurai
The samurai is a unique figure in Japanese history. This is a person who is a noble member of the Japanese military. It is an intriguing part of history that has become a popular thing to see for a costume. A good samurai costume can be one of the best Japanese costumes that a person can use if it is handled properly and features the right parts for it.
A general tunic will be used on the front layer of the costume. This is a tunic that will feature a bright type of color that will help to get it to stand out from other parts of the costume. In some cases traditional Japanese characters or floral patterns can be used on the tunic. In addition to this side slits along the legs of the tunic should be featured.
The pants of the costume should have wide legs. These legs are ones that will work with a color that will be the opposite of the color of the tunic. The wide legs will work to give out a good samurai appearance that will be rather unique.
An undershirt will be required underneath everything. However the undershirt should be one that works with large sleeves. This involves seeing that the sleeves are not only long in length but also wide. They should be ones that sag down. A typical shirt like this will be white in color but other options can work as
long as the color is one that goes along with the rest of the parts that will be used with the costume.
In order to get a full samurai Japanese costume to work the costume should feature sandals. These sandals should be ones that features a wooden or leather look to them and should work with flat surfaces and not with any heels. No straps should be used between the toes either. This is used as a means of helping to allow the user to wear socks with the sandals. In fact it is recommended that the user wears socks with them as a means of allowing a person to look more accurate.
Finally there is the hat. A samurai hat should be one that has the same color as that of the tunic and is also going to cover one’s ears. It does not have to be rather pointy like what some original samurai had on their uniforms.
