Vibgyor Films announces its second movie

Earlier, the company announced the production of an anti-Jihadist movie named Leelakhela, which will be directed by Masum Aziz.

Eminent Bangladeshi actor Ferdous and Moushumi will play the key roles in the Leelakhela movie.

Commenting on the second movie ‘Shongshoy’, management of Vibgyor Films said, the story is based on a Muslim wife, who was deceived by her husband and later how her life entered into serious trouble, when her husband took huge amount of money from her parents and virtually abandoned her.

Internationally known award winning Bangladeshi journalist Salah Uddin Shoaib Choudhury has written the story and screen play of this film.

The film will mainly give inspirations to those dowry affected Muslim women to fight back and learn to live in adversity denouncing multiple social obstacles.

Vibgyor Films is considering several names to play the roles in this movie. Extremely talented Bangladeshi female actor Joya Masud [Joya Ahsan] may play the main role in the film, while the company is considering several male actors to finally pick up one for playing the role with Joya in this movie.

Commenting on Joya, director of this film said, “She is the most talented actor in Bangladesh. We are trying to sign her for this movie. If the matter will not be settled with Joya, then we have to look for another artiste. We have a few names in mind.”

Songs for ‘Shongshoy’ film has already been completed. It is expected that popular singer S I Tutul and Shakila Jafar may give voice to these songs.

Vigyor Films has few more Bangla movies in the pipeline. Popular directors like Uttam Akash, Shahadat Hussain Liton etc will give direction to these movies. Meanwhile, office of the Vibgyor Films will be inaugurated on May 2, 2010 at Eastern Commercial Complex, 3rd Floor, Suite Number 8, 73 Kakrail, Dhaka.
