After an arduous multi-year zoning and rehab process co-owners Andrew Breton and Scott Regina can finally say, Anytime Fitness is now open. Located behind Whole Foods in Bishops Corner, this new jewel is a standout. From the impressive façade with its illuminated logo, you enter the inviting workout zone where brightly lit rows of stainless cardio and weight machines are set off by warmly colored walls of yellow and orange. The layout is designed for quick and effective exercise including circuit and cross-training machines, free weights and state-of-the-
art cardio machines including treadmills, ellipticals and stationary bikes all with private TV screens and IPod hook ups. One of the favorites, are spinning bikes with private virtual instructors providing professional, private instruction as they warm you up, take you through the challenge and cool you down. “These virtual spin bikes are great” said co-owner Andrew Breton. "For the beginner, they don’t have to feel intimidated by a class setting. They can learn and grow at their own pace. And they also let clients take spinning classes on their own schedule. People are so overscheduled today. Not everyone can make it to the gym at a precise day and time”. For those that want structured training sessions, Anytime Fitness offers one on one training sessions as well as small group training sessions of 2 to 10 people focusing on circuit and personal training.
No longer are you limited by traditional hours of operation. Anytime Fitness’s innovative model lets you create your own hours. Open 365 days per year, the fitness center is open from 5:00 am to midnight accommodating anyone’s hectic schedule. “Physicians and hospital staff love it here” said co-owner Scott Regina. “Their hours can be crazy. Now they can work their irregular hours and still get their workouts in”. Members also have access to over 1000+ Anytime Fitness clubs throughout the United States, Canada and Australia. Tanning will also be available come late may.
To celebrate their opening, Anytime Fitness is offering "no enrollment fees" on all memberships. The official ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on Saturday May 22nd, from 8am to 8pm where they will be giving away a free membership every hour on the hour.
Club tours are available Monday-Friday 9am to 8pm, or Saturdays and Sunday 9am to 4pm. Just stop in or call 860-570-0123 to schedule an appointment.
