Thousands of Entertainment Industry Professionals Flock to ShowBiz Expo® 2010 Spring Shows

April 29, 2010 - PRLog -- ShowBiz Expo New York, March 28 at the Hilton New York City and ShowBiz Expo Los Angeles, April 24 & 25 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, played host to thousands of entertainment industry professionals eager to take part in the largest networking opportunity in the entertainment industry.

The Conference at ShowBiz Expo New York and ShowBiz Expo Los Angeles offered a variety of informative workshops and panels, many hosted by industry trade groups and associations. Topics included the view from behind the camera, indy film production, how to get your name out there, everything you need to know about the RED camera, secrets from 100 years of Hollywood blockbusters, fast pitch, getting funding for your project, cashing in on new opportunities in Latino entertainment, the modern spec script, inside the reality show world, social media for film & TV and more.  Each day a free keynote event brought together a diverse crowd of professionals to contemplate topics such as a 360 degree view of Broadway at ShowBiz Expo New York, and opportunities in the world of voiceovers as well as low budget filmmaking at ShowBiz Expo Los Angeles.

Both Expos hosted a Film Festival featuring short films from emerging filmmakers in a theatre adjacent to the conference.  Several leading casting directors held live auditions for touring companies of major productions at ShowBiz Expo New York and ShowBiz Expo Los Angeles.
