This decrease in price and obviously tremendous improvement in performance has enticed many consumers.

Apart from low price and high performance, flat panel TVs has many other advantages over the old traditional cathode ray televisions. It is slimmer and lighter with a sharper image and better sound quality. It also gives an extremely high resolution and a very low glare. High resolution states that it delivers really good picture quality with no interferences in any form as it prevents distortion. Best thing is that flat TVs have wider viewing angle that enable viewers to watch TV from any point in the room. Another major advantage is that a flat LCD TV consumes less power than the cathode ray televisions.
