FOS Décor Nominated for 3 Awards at the 2010 13th Annual Canadian Event Perspective Star Awards

April 30, 2010 - PRLog -- Toronto, ON Canada – There were many Nominees at the Canadian Event Perspective Star Awards this year and among them was a rising star in the event planning industry. FOS Décor based out of Concord, ON has come a long way since they started out in September of 2002 and they are becoming one of the top event planning companies in Canada, this year taking the award for Best Use of Lighting for their work on the BMO “Reach for the Brass Ring” theme event.

Along with winning the award they were also nominated for 2 other awards. FOS Decor was a nominee for Most Outstanding Event under $100,000 for their work on the Fallsview Casino “Chinese Mid Autumn Festival” theme event in which they were up against some tough competition like Deeley Harley-Davidson Canada and their “Precious Metal Garage” party which won them this year’s award.

FOS Décor was also a nominee for Best Theme Decor over $30,000 for the beautifully designed Wedding of Eric and Morgan where they put together a stunning “18th Century” theme that took attendees breath away. Unfortunately FOS Decor could not walk away with the win as it went to Patrick Roberge Productions for their New Years Eve 2010 countdown event which was a tough competitor to go up against considering New Years is one of the biggest events of the year.

Though FOS Décor could not take all the awards they were nominated for this year, next year’s Canadian Event Perspective Star Awards seems just around the corner and you can be sure that they will be coming out with guns blazing. The 14th Annual Star Awards will begin accepting entries from all over Canada in October of 2010 and you can bet that FOS Décor will once again be on the front lines of the awards with plenty of time left to put together even more amazing events to push their name over the top. Who knows with all the time between now and October the event or wedding FOS Décor puts together for you could be the one that brings them home the most coveted award at the ceremony Event Professional of the Year.
