April 29, 2010 - PRLog -- A full page ad has appeared in today’s Sydney Daily Telegraph slating NRL boss David Gallop’s decision to prevent Melbourne from earning any premiership points in 2010 in addition to the NRL’s current salary cap structure.

The ad was placed and paid for by Gary Johnston - MD of Jaycar Electronics - which is a major sponsor of the Canterbury Bulldogs.

The ad takes the form of an angry letter directed at Gallop. At the end of it, Johnston offers to place it again if he receives enough support from fans.

While pointing out that the letter has nothing to do with the Bulldogs, the Canterbury team is distancing itself from Johnston’s actions, with club chief executive Todd Greenberg stating the Bulldogs strongly endorse the actions taken by David Gallop against the Storm.
