Over 1400 women from all over Victoria and from all walks of life will join forces in support of Challenge at the 2010 Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend Gala Dinner, which once again sold out in a matter of hours.
We are thrilled to announce that this year’s host will be The Circle’s Gorgi Coghlan.
In celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Diamonds Dinner, this year’s theme will be inspired by the four most famous girls of New York - Sex and the City’s Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda and Samantha, with each guest going into the draw to win a trip for two to the Big Apple. With a fashion show, champagne and cosmopolitan bars, and complimentary hair, nails and make up in the foyer, guests can look forward to an all female night of fun, friends and of course, fundraising.
Monies raised from this event allow Challenge to further their parent and family support programs, aimed at alleviating the stresses of our parents so they can spend more quality time together as a family when they get home from hospital. With the house cleaned, lawns mowed, weekends away with other mums and dads, and vouchers to assist with groceries and petrol, parents can enjoy ‘personal time’ to re-focus and re-energise. These important services would not be possible without support from the annual Diamonds Dinner.
Challenge continues to provide daily ongoing support programs and services to children and families living with cancer.
