Personnel and Asset Visibility Monitoring
AVANTE has successfully deployed and achieved the designed holistic and integrated personnel safety and asset security management in industrial working places.
Since 2005, AVANTE has deployed the Personnel and Asset Visibility Systems (PAVS) in a variety of working environments with different requirements of safety and security. PAVS 100 is a wireless access system that in a traditional setting can be used with standard industrial access control solutions from Honeywell or GE. PAVS 300 provides nodal visibility besides access control for when and where personnel come in and/or moves out of different zones of the facilities. PAVS 500 provides additional real-time locating solution (RTLS) and capability either on-demand in operations requiring privacy, other than in case of emergency, or “always on” mode in operations of higher security or potential safety concerns. The RTLS provides much needed visibility during emergency and evacuations over traditional choke point or control point locating systems and solutions.
The patented PAVS 500 ZONER™ badge is also equipped with a panic button and buzzer for evacuation and other emergency communications. Motion, shock and orientation sensors are also used along with a temperature sensor to provide an automatic “man-down”
PAVS 500 have applications where Chemical Facilities Against Terrorism Standards (CFATS), EPA dangerous chemical usage safety and 2002 Bio-terrorism Acts compliant are critical. When used with WiFi mesh network, it is one of the most cost effective solutions to provide personnel safety and visibility in underground mining operations.
PAVS 500 monitoring network is also integrated to work with moving vehicles and heavy equipment that are equipped with RELAYER™ monitoring devices. Important equipment, assets, chemicals or materials are tagged with ZONER™ tags equipped with sensors to detect and report operations, theft and sabotage in real-time.
The powerful web-based solution provides role-based access to the data reported and stored in the web-server. When coupled with video monitoring and analytics provides the ultimate operation visibility. The return of investment (ROI) comes from traditional but enhanced personnel access control and attendance management, automated compliance reporting, advanced workforce management and efficiency improvements, and potential insurance cost reduction of assets and operations.
