April 28, 2010 - PRLog -- For the past 8 years ADI’s Annual Career Expo has attracted hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of job seekers from across the nation and is proud to once again host this exceptional event during Asian heritage month. Asian Diversity Career Expos are the longest running career fairs specifically designed to connect Asian American talent with U.S. and global companies.

Many of the nation’s top employers with open job positions for Asian professionals promise to make the 9th Annual Asian Diversity Career Expo into a hiring bonanza.  Leading companies and government agencies including Amtrak, CIA, Cintas, FDNY, FPL Group, ITT, MassMutual Financial Group, PNC Financial, Prudential, Social Security Administration, Thomson Reuters, Time Warner Cable, U.S. Intelligence Community and dozens more will interview job candidates onsite.

For the first time ever, this year’s event is held in partnership with the “Northeast Consortium” which includes Boston University, Carnegie Mellon University, Pace University, Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and Stony Brook University. Employers are certain to experience a unique opportunity to recruit superior Asian/Asian-American talent from a pool of over 2,000 attendees. For business professionals interested in pursuing an MBA degree, the George Washington University will also be present to meet and discuss their programs.

Companies and government ministries such as HYOSUNG Corporation, Samsung, Contact Singapore and Contact Korea will offer global positions for job candidates interested in pursuing international positions. These featured companies are looking to fill positions in Asia that require U.S. education and business experience.

The primary focus of the ADI Career Expo is to bring together corporate recruiters, students, top job candidates and experienced business professionals to embrace the career potential that the Asian Americans provide to the workforce.

Professional trainers will be available for one-on-one sessions with attendees, providing critical tips on resume writing and interview techniques at the Resume Critique Center.

Pre-register at www.AsianDiversity.com for free admission ($10 at the door) or call 212-465-8777 / email Expo@asianlife.com for more information. This diversity event is open to all individuals from all ethnic backgrounds.
