CANTON, GA. – On Saturday, May 22 and Sunday, May 23, Soleil Laurel Canyon, a 330 acre master planned community will host its first Soleil Spring Festival. The two-day event will be held at the active adult community and will feature a wide range of events, activities and demonstrations including a Tour of Homes and a presentation by master gardener, Walter Reeves a featured columnist for the AJC and talk-show host at 750-WSB Radio.
Schedule of Events:
Saturday, May 22: 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
• Ongoing Tour of Homes and Amenities: 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Soleil Model Park Guests will be able to enjoy music and light refreshments as they tour Soleil’s unique model park. Each home will feature a unique gift or giveaway.
• Walter Reeves: Noon – 1 p.m.
Soleil Garden Learn from the best at a fun and informative “Tips for Spring Planting” gardening demonstration. Reeves not only writes a weekly column for the AJC, but is the host of “The Lawn and Garden” show on 750 WSB-AM Saturday mornings from 6-10 a.m. Reeves also hosts, “Gardening in Georgia” a weekly broadcast on Georgia Public Television which airs from April through October.
• Interior Design Consultation:
Soleil Design Gallery Brenda Facchinetti from Afford Elegance will give a presentation on window treatment design and fabric/texture selections for your home.
• Artist Clinic: 1:30 – 2:30 p.m.
Soleil Clubhouse Artroom Kathy Mock will host an informative discussion on Watercolor artwork and painting.
Sunday, May 23: 1 – 3 p.m.

Soleil Tennis Courts Tom Cobb the Soleil Director of Tennis will provide a tennis clinic at Soleil’s tennis center.
• Bocce Ball Clinic: 2:30 – 3 p.m.
Soleil Bocce Ball Court Join Soleil Residents, Augie and Dolly Curcio, as they teach the ins and outs of one of Soleil’s most popular pastimes.
