Jazztel presented its results on April 27 and surpassed growth expectations in terms of benefits and customer acquisitions.
Jazztel had €136.9 million revenues during the first quarter of 2010, it represents a 35% growth QoQ, thanks to Retail segment, which grew by 49%. ADSL subscriber base grew significantly by 58% compared to the same period last year. Jazztel had 681.000 subscribers in Q1 2010.
On April, Jazztel launched VDSL2 broadband service with up to 30 Mb bandwidth. With this new product, Jazztel expects to maintain its subscriber growth momentum. The company targets about 840.000 ADSL subscribers at the end of 2010.
