Poetic City Life is dedicated book on cities with urban lifestyle’s own joys, problems and sorrows.  Poet has observed the common city life problems with individualistic and collective viewpoint. Describing urban lifestyle is nothing new to the poet, as he is himself born and brought up in a metro city, Kolkata. Some special poems on New York, London and Paris contain special endnotes to explain briefly the unknown terms within those poems. Like his first book, poet has experimented with various poetic forms like Cinquain, Terza Rima, Sestina, Limerick etc. to describe different moods of the city.
