The solar panel centre open weekend will offer a panel of experts including manufacturers, installers and consultants in the following:
a) Solar hot water panels
b) Solar PV panels
c) Ground source heat pumps
Wayne Morris of the big green company says "we are delighted to announce the opening of the solar panel centre in Cheshire, which will be a centre of excellence for renewable energy for homes. The government has set a target of 2% of all reneawable energy coming from micro-generation, this means that 50,000 homes will need to be fitted with renewables in the next 10 years in Cheshire."
The open weekend will be widely publicised in the local press and will allow homeowners to come along and see how whether their home is suitable for solar panels.
