Universal Companies Promotes Mark Harless to Director of Purchasing

April 27, 2010 - PRLog -- Leading spa supplies distributor Universal Companies has promoted Mark Harless to the position of Director of Purchasing. He joined Universal in March 2004 and has served as the company’s Purchasing Manager for the past six years.

As Director of Purchasing, Harless will work with Universal Companies’ Marketing Department to improve vendor relationships and products. He will also be responsible for the implementation of new ideas and procedures to help the company continue to grow all facets of its business.

A native of East Tennessee, Harless graduated from East Tennessee State University in 1988 with a degree in Industrial Engineering Technology. He was Purchasing Manager with Hapco Company for 11 years prior to coming to Universal Companies.
