LYNX Services Provides Janitorial Training Site for Goodwill

LYNX Services, L.L.C. and Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida have formed a unique partnership which will provide jobs, needed services, and funding for Goodwill’s programs and services in the community.

LYNX Services has offered its National Customer Service Center in North Fort Myers as its training facility for Goodwill’s janitorial and floor care service.  The move is mutually beneficial for both businesses.  LYNX receives cost-effective service, while Goodwill is able to provide training in a 63,000 square foot office building, employ its career service clients and generate revenue for the agency’s overall mission.

Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida's (http://www.goodwillswfl.org) janitorial and floor care service is part of the agency’s expanding contract services division, which also provides secure document destruction to a number of businesses, nonprofits, and local governments in Southwest Florida.  The local Goodwill agency has modeled its contract services platform after the very successful business services division of Goodwill Industries of South Florida in Miami.

Arlene Goldberg, LYNX Services’ Facility Services Director, helped arrange the Goodwill/LYNX partnership after a trip to Dade County.  “We toured a number of buildings, including some of the federal buildings that Goodwill cleans in Miami” says Goldberg.  “I was impressed by all of the services that they offered there: Carpet cleaning, exterior work, windows, floor care.  I like that they use environmentally-friendly cleaning methods – which is a key element of LYNX Services’ procurement strategy and business philosophy.”

LYNX Services is a national leader in providing third-party administrative and claims management services on behalf of the U.S. Property & Casualty Insurance and Corporate Fleet/Leasing market segments. .
