Karen Black C.k.d. Wins First Place At 2010 Nkba Design Competition At National Kitchen & Bath Show

April 26, 2010 - PRLog -- KAREN BLACK C.K.D. WINS FIRST PLACE IN DESIGN COMPETITION
Chicago was host to the 2010 National Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (K/BIS).  Karen Black C.K.D. was honored in the Design Competition with a First Place Award.  Karen graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Interior Design from the College of Architecture.  She has served as judge for the National CKD (Certified Kitchen Designer) Design competition in New York City and as a judge for the University of Oklahoma Interior Design Senior Portfolio Review.  She is past President of the Oklahoma City NKBA (National Kitchen & Bath Association).
Publications include House Beautiful, Colonial Homes, Women’s Day, and the front cover of prestigious Kitchens by Professionals.  She belongs to numerous professional organizations, peer advisory groups, NKBA, as well as the Edmond, and Oklahoma City Chambers of Commerce.  Karen has been in the Kitchen design business for 25 years and has owned her company for 14 years.
