Stamford, CT– The public is invited to attend an Ambassadors Roundtable dinner presentation on U.S. Foreign Policy Options by Ambassador R. Nicholas Burns, Professor in the Practice of Diplomacy and International Politics, Kennedy School, Harvard University & Former Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs, being held at the Stamford Yacht Club on Wednesday, May 12, 2010.
Ambassador Nicholas Burns is a member of the Board of Directors of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, the Atlantic Council, the Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress and the Appeal of Conscience Foundation. Ambassador Burns served in the United States Foreign Service for twenty-seven years until his retirement in April 2008. He has received honorary doctorates from ten American universities, the Secretary of State's Distinguished Service Award (from Condoleezza Rice), the Woodrow Wilson Award for Public Service from the Johns Hopkins University and the Boston College Alumni Achievement Award.
The public are invited to attend the event at the Stamford Yacht Club, 97 Ocean Drive, Stamford. The cost of the dinner and presentation is $95 for the public. It is free to Ambassadors’
