MedicalBillingCourseReview.com’s goal is to become an independent database of reviews about medical billing courses. “To builds this repository,” says David Keller, founder of http://www.MedicalBillingCourseReview.com, “we need the opinions and experiences from people who have actually taken the courses.”

Keller adds, “From when we have received our first review to the 100th, it has been quite a ride. We were not too sure how quickly it would take to get to 100 course review. It took less time than expected.”

“The medical billing industry is taking on increasing importance with the healthcare reform debate. What is not really being spoken of is the conversion to ICD-10. The number of medical codes that can be billed is going to increase nine times. We are going from 17,000 codes to 155,000. If that does not mean a huge need for education, I do not know what does.”

“While we have been on ICD-9, it has been difficult to find good medical billers who understand the universe of code. Going to 155,000 will only magnify that. Education will be the bridge to closing those gaps. Knowing what medical billing courses server the community best is a step to finding the best education.”
