The tenacious Mr. Cummings has been giving his instructions from his hospital bed all week. On Wednesday his horse Yaqubi won at Canterbury, Latin News won the Listed Gosford Guineas on Thursday and today Dariana won the Group Three Frank Packer Plate at Randwick.

Stable rep and grandson James Cummings has taken over the reins while his grandfather has been poorly, but said that Cummins senior was now on the road to recovery.
