Tiger Will Play the Players Championship

April 24, 2010 - PRLog -- Tiger Woods has announced he will compete in next month’s Players Championship, and is now set for four events so far. He has committed to play in The Players Championship and the AT&T National, also next week’s Quail Hollow Championship in Charlotte, N.C., and the U.S. Open, June 17-20, at Pebble Beach Golf Links.

He said on his website that he will reveal more of his schedule in coming weeks.

Woods said he was really looking forward to defending his title at the AT&T National. He has however, been stripped of his host role there after his sponsorship with AT&T came to an abrupt end in the light of his sex scandal.

The National comes two weeks before the British Open at St Andrews, which Woods is yet to commit to.
