As part of the Department of Municipal Affairs (DMA) stand at Cityscape Abu Dhabi, Western Region Municipality (WRM) used hi-tec presentation methods to showcase the major projects it is under- talking in the western region. Interactive presentation methods included the MultiTouch POD, 3D projects and 4D cinema. The different methods, some used for the first time, attracted many visitors to the stand of DMA.

HE Hamood Humaid Al Mansouri, General Manager of the Western Region Municipality, said "We are always keen to use the latest presentation tools through the participation in various exhibitions, to share our plan and projects very clearly with all our stakeholders and visitors. We presented 65 projects through the custom developed and programmed. We are using modern techniques to promote development in the region and encourage participation from the public ".
Speaking on the technical details of the MultiTiuch POD, Abdullah Adel Shwaikh, PR & Communication director, WRM, said: "The device features a 46" display screen and 2 embedded infra red multipoint sensory cameras, It has 8 Core 2.66 GHz Macintosh PRO system running a custom developed and programmed interface".
The WRM projects presented Cityscape Abu Dhabi included; construction of new WRM headquarter in Liwa, public parts in Ghayathi and Sila, Memorial monument in Delma to commemorate the late HH Sheikh Zayed's visit to the island and the slaughter house in Madinat Zayed.
