April 23, 2010 - PRLog -- Tip # 1 - Creating Keyword Rich Content

Once you have a list of the best matching keywords, all that remains is to insert them into your content creation. Now, be careful not to 'stuff' them in as much as possible. Google does penalize you for keyword stuffing. The visitors who see your site will be turned off and probably will not respond too well to illegible 'stuffed' keyword content.

Generally, a common 1% to 3% keyword density is the rule. For your blog/website copy, your targeted keyword should be no more than between 1 to 3 appearances per 100 words. If it is a particularly 'long' keyword, then limiting it to 1 or 2 is best; always in the first part of the sentence and in the last sentence in the paragraph.

Fairly effective as far is using 1 'short' keyword and 2 'long' keywords per paragraph. When the search engines index your pages, you will start appearing in the right 'target' bracket. Next you will make more pages in order to increase the amount of content in your blog/website until you appear as close to the top of the search results as possible.

Tip # 2 - Article Marketing

Article marketing is simple, easy to do and you can outsource it for a couple dollars an article on elance.com or ifreelance.com if you do not like writing. Article marketing is just writing an article, and submitting it to article directories. By including a link of your choice in the 'resource box', you will be gaining back links and the possibility of a sale when the person reading the article clicks on your signature link and is directed to your blog/website.

However to really make the most of article marketing, the article must be keyword targeted, just like your content, in order to enable people to find it in an article search. The article must be a 'presell' of your blog/website and your product you are offering for sales.

You do need to be careful especially with the top article sites. If your article is too sales oriented it will not be accepted for publication. Your article should be written in a non-promotional way and should just guide the reader to the resource box which would contain a link to your blog/website or "call to action."

Tip # 3 - Forums

For almost every niche, there are forums around online where people would flock to discuss the issues that surround it. Naturally, this represents a base of potential traffic that you could tap into, but the question that should be asked is, "How?"

Obtaining traffic from a forum can sometimes be a long process. Most good forums tend to have been established, and you will have to establish yourself within the forum so that the others there view you as an important and trusted contributor.

If you can accomplish this, then your suggestions are bound to be taken more seriously, as will your links. Before you get to this level though, you can always start off by including a link in your signature, as is the generally accepted practice with most forums.

Be sure to read and abide by the forums rules though, the last thing you want to happen is that you end up getting banned for some offense that you did not realize was an offense.

Who knows, once you are very reputable, you could end up tapping into a huge stream of traffic from a forum. Becoming an expert on a forum does lead to a large number of followers which can lead to rapid mass traffic and sales to your blog/website. For more top tips visit http://www.fastfurioustraffic.com/
