Jungle Juggle at BIG ARTS Annual Family Day
SANIBEL, Fla. (April 23, 2010) People of all ages will enjoy a free fun afternoon in BIG ARTS Boler Garden Sunday, May 3, with a 3-D show by world champion juggler and comedian Mark Nizer. BIG ARTS 5th Annual Family Day begins at 3 p.m. The day includes juggling, comedy, theater, art, crafts, and music.
Since winning the International Juggling Championships, Mark Nizer has taken his one-man show with original comedy, world-class juggling, music, and technology all over the world. Kids can enjoy an instrument “petting zoo” with the Southwest Florida Symphony, and a performance by the Sanibel School Performing Arts students as well as the Steel Drum Band. Pinocchio's Ice Cream will be giving out their homemade ice cream and will host a “guess how many cookies in the jar” contest. The winner will receive a Pinocchio's Gift Package including a signature t-shirt. Families can also enjoy fun food by Catering by Leslie Adams.
The afternoon will also include the visual arts opening reception for Open Doors: Great Expectations XV, a program funded through donations to the Alliance for the Arts. This exhibit is open Friday, April 30 through Friday, May 21 in Founders Gallery.
