March 19th marked a momentous occasion for GRAPA and four Telco Professionals who were the first to receive Certification as GRAPA Telco Fraud Officers. After two weeks of rigorous training and exams, four highly qualified TFO students emerged with GRAPA’s highest level of Fraud Management Certification.
The official launch of GRAPA’s TFO program occurred at the certification event in Lagos, Nigeria and featured a new curriculum developed to provide telecoms fraud professionals with specialized training. Along with the four Telco Fraud Officers, 2 additional students earned Telco Fraud Specialist Certification.
Rob Mattison, President of GRAPA and instructor of the TFO program declared that “the Telco Fraud Officer pilot certification event exceeded all of our expectations. It was definitely a huge success.”
Based on such positive feedback, GRAPA is excited to continue the TFO program during certification events in Delhi and Miami, as well as more to be scheduled for throughout the year. Mattison is excited by the response from students, saying “this was a great kickoff to the program, and I am looking forward to many more positive experiences with other telecoms professionals.”
