Los Angeles, California - United States – Los Angeles based AAA Flag and Banner provided the signage on and around the racetrack, adorning local hotels, the Long Beach Convention Center, and the city streets throughout Long Beach by providing the graphics along with installation and management of the entire program for the 15th straight year at the Long Beach Grand Prix this past weekend. Following on the heels of producing all the signage and graphics for the LA Marathon including their unprecedented creation of a Pacific Wheel Ferris wheel banner, representatives from the industry leaders in big event signs and banners were jubilant after the race.
“No matter how many big events we do, it’s always a thrill to see our work displayed so prominently in such a large venue,” said a company spokesperson. “Grand Prix racing has become much more popular in the United States in recent years so we know there’s a large audience watching out there. That makes us raise the bar even higher for the work that we do. Even if the majority of those TV watchers don’t know who did the graphics, we take pride in our work and want them to be the very best.”
Earlier this year, AAA Flag and Banner created a banner for ASICS which was displayed on the Pacific Wheel, the Ferris wheel in Pacific Park on the Long Beach pier. The location and date of display were chosen deliberately because the wheel dominates the view at the end of the LA Marathon. Both ASICS and AAA Flag and Banner considered the event to be a huge success.
“We used over three thousand square feet of mesh vinyl to create that Pacific Wheel ASICS banner,” our company spokesperson told us. As far as we know, this was the first time that anyone created a banner that large to mount on a Ferris wheel. Very few in our industry would even attempt it, but we’ve gotten used to doing the seemingly impossible over the years.”
AAA Flag and Banner has been in business in Los Angeles for thirty five years and currently has offices in Florida, California, and Las Vegas, Nevada. They are one of the largest manufacturers of corporate and special event promotional materials in the United States, producing signs, flags, fleet graphics, and trade show graphics.
