Ummanz, 20 April 2010 - The ICMCTF 2010 (International Conference on Metallurgical Coatings and Thin Films, www2.avs.org/
This time, we will exhibit new possibilities in the range of mechanical surface characterization and surface optimization particularly of thin films at booth #45.
Dr. Schwarzer will give the lecture E2-1-3 about "Some Unpleasant Truth About Dynamic/Oscillatory Indentation Measurement Procedures" on Tuesday, 27 April 2010, at 08:40am. This lecture will definitely interesting for those surface measurement experts, who use the Continuous Stiffness Method (CSM) of Agilent or the Quasi-Continuous Stiffness Method (QCSM) method of ASMEC for indentation measurements.
The lecture E1-1-10 about "Sophisticated New Analyzing and Simulation Tools for Scratch, Impact, and Wear Tests" will be given by Mr. Fuchs on Thursday, 29 April 2010, at 04:30pm. He will illustrate, how one can easily perform sophisticated analyses of scratch tests, impact tests, and wear tests by means of our software ISA.
And Mr. Bierwisch will present a poster about "Why Measurement at Higher Temperature is of Great Importance and How the Results Should be Used - But without taking time dependency into account (creep), you will get a lot of nonsense" on Thursday, 29 April 2010, from 05:00pm.
To sum up, we will provide a large package of interesting new information on the annual ICMCTF again.
