Rock'n Music Academy Celebrates Its Five Year Anniversary

April 23, 2010 - PRLog -- Rock’n Music Academy, located at 500 highway 35 South Union Square in Middletown, is celebrating its five year anniversary. The academy was established in May of 2005 by professional musician and Franklin & Marshall College graduate Howard Lee Edwards Jr., a lifetime resident of Middletown, New Jersey.

Over the course of five years, Rock’n Music Academy has taught over one thousand  students ranging in age from 4 to adult and in level from absolute beginner to advanced. Rock’n Music’s unique program has been refined over the past 5 years to give students the finest lessons, resources, and events, which include summer camps, student concerts, jam sessions, and classes and seminars. "The goal at Rock’n Music Academy has always been to make learning music a fun and rewarding experience.  Whether the student is learning guitar, bass, drums, keyboard/piano, or vocals, our program ensures that each student has the opportunity to reach their potential as a musician, says Howard Lee."

Currently, Rock’n Music has a dedicated instructor team consisting of over 15 professional instructors. The instructor team is comprised of professional touring musicians, recording artists, and graduates of some of the finest music schools in the country, including Juilliard and Berklee College of Music.

To mark its five year anniversary, Rock’n Music Academy is holding its annual spring concert on Sunday,  May 2nd 2010 at 2 p.m. outdoors in front of Rock’n Music. The free concert will feature performances by the students of Rock’n Music Academy.
