Figures released recently by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) indicate an increase in sales for vans and commercial vehicles in the UK for the first quarter of 2010.
Year on year comparisons showed an increasing growth in sales, with 34,691 vans being registered in March 2010. These statistics are an indication of a growing confidence amongst businesses in all sectors. Having weathered the recession of the past two years, fleet managers could now be looking to upgrade or replace their company’s vehicles, taking advantage of the wider availability of finance deals which are now available.
