Green Business Bureau Kicks Off Guest Blogger Series with Entry by Intellectual Property Specialist

April 22, 2010 - PRLog -- April 22, 2010, HOUSTON – The Green Business Bureau (GBB) recently announced a new Guest Blogger series that will host entries by leading voices in the green business industry.  The first entry by international intellectual property (IP) specialist George Snyder, of the law firm Troutman Sanders, was published today.  The blog entry, titled “Green Tech IP: Pitfalls and Profits” outlines the challenges and rewards of dealing skillfully with IP in the green technology arena.

Snyder has a broad-spectrum intellectual property practice at the international law firm, Troutman Sanders.  His experience includes litigation on behalf of patent and trademark owners, defense of alleged infringers, as well as in major studies undertaken to “clear” the introduction of new products, services and brand names into the marketplace, and IP-related transactional work.  

A further significant aspect of Snyder’s practice is the procurement of patents and registrations to protect cutting-edge technology and trademark assets in a variety of industries. He has wide-ranging expertise in all phases of the preparation and prosecution of applications for patent and trademark registration in many different fields, including the chemical arts, sensor technology, and industrial processing, both inside and outside of the U.S.
