The voting age in Uzbekistan is 25. Egypt was the first African country to enter the World Cup Soccer Competition;
The competition sponsored by World Affairs Council of St. Louis included topics such as European History, Egypt, Economy and Politics of Asia, Faces of the World Leaders, Current Events and Latin American History. The World Affairs Council of St. Louis is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that connects people of the Gateway region to the world by sponsoring programs that promote understanding, engagement, relationships and leadership in World Affairs. The first place winners received $50 gift certificates to Best Buy and second place winners received $25.00 Ted Drewes Frozen Custard gift cards.
Novus International had two teams participate in this year’s competition. The Novus teams came in first and second place. Novus International is a global leader in animal health and nutrition. Their team members included natives of Japan, Ghana, Mexico, United States of America and China.
“Novus has participated in The Worldquest Knowledge Competition since it started six years ago. This is the second year in a row that we have taken first place,” explained John Wade, Chief Financial Officer, Novus International. “The event is a unique way to bring various companies and people together for some friendly competition and to test your world knowledge.”
