April 22, 2010 - PRLog -- When your purchasing beads one of the most important things is to see the beads before you buy them.  No Internet photo or catalogue can give you the true color and feel of the bead.

Rather than trudging from bead store to bead store or looking at tons of on line beads come out and shop The Intergalactic Bead & Jewelry Show.  At the show you’ll fine a wider selection of beads than at your local stores.  The exhibitors come from across the US bringing an exclusive mix of beads and jewelry not found in the local area.  The IBJS show offers a one of a kind shopping experience!  See thousands of quality beads before you buy… There’s a fantastic selection in one easy shopping location.

The show is the best place to find spring's hottest new bead styles! Another huge hit at the shows is the handcrafted jewelry designed by the exhibitors for the shows.

Rosalynn R. owner of Beaded Couture, Conyers, GA - I love purchasing my bead needs at the bead show.  My bead shop's tag line is "Make 'em wonder where you got it!"  I am able to keep this tag line because I always find unique stones and beads at this  bead show.

Teresa Rogers of Atlanta said, “best bead show I've been to in a long time, can't wait till the next one!

At the show you’ll find beads in every size and shape imaginable, including semi-precious and precious gemstone beads, seed beads, handmade artisan glass beads and exotic ethnic beads made from natural materials such as bone and wood.  Visitors will be able to examine the beads before they buy and find the perfect beads to create their own unique jewelry.

There are several lamp worker and glass bead exhibitors at the show.  Glass and lamp worked beads are unique works of art reflecting the artist vision.  These beads are made of glass and can be molded, stretched and pulled into any shape imaginable.

One of the lamp work artists is Susan Barnes, Fire Goddess of GA.  She creates American made lamp work beads and jewelry.  Unlike many of the artists who begin by creating the bead, Susan begins by visualizing the finished jewelry piece and then conceives the beads and embellishments necessary to create the final jewelry design. Susan also designs a unique line of rhodium pendants, pewter beads, buttons and focal points.  Come talk to Susan at the show and see her wonderful bead designs.

Susan is just one of the many wonderful exhibitors at the Intergalactic show.  All of the Intergalactic shows are open to the public, in indoor facilities and have both wholesale and retail pricing.  The Intergalactic shows have something for everyone.  So whether you’re a beginning beader or experienced jewelry designer you’ll find what your looking for at the Intergalactic Bead & Jewelry Shows.  For more information visit http://beadshows.com/index.jsp.
