(Raleigh, NC) – Jim Blackburn, lead prosecutor in the infamous trial accusing Dr. Jeffrey MacDonald of murdering his pregnant wife and daughters, will speak at the Business Clubs of the Triangle’s (BCA Triangle) April breakfast meeting. The breakfast will be held at Brier Creek Country Club in Raleigh on April 23, 2010. The breakfast is being hosted by PRStreet.
After much success including a book and television mini-series, Fatal Vision, based on the MacDonald trial, Blackburn’s career ended when found guilty of ethical violations. Later, he went to prison, faced depression and waited tables at Raleigh’s 42nd Street Oyster Bar.

At the April BCA breakfast Blackburn will address how he changed degrading life experiences in to positive ones such as teaching NC Bar-approved CLE courses on Ethics and Professionalism, Mental Health/ Substance Abuse and Trial Preparation, and how to keep employees happy, honest and out of trouble.
