After pushing our suppliers for over two years to produce an elegant wood product that is more robust and hardier than link - Pearlwood Shutters (which some call Phoenixwood,) we can now finally introduce you to LARCHWOOD SHUTTERS.

We believe that Larchwood is the best product to have been sourced for us since we set up in 1982 and certainly one of the most exciting things to happen to the window shutters market as a whole. It has not been officially launched yet, but we have been given first option to start selling larchwood window shutters and we wanted you to be amongst the first to know.

The clients who have already had the pleasure of seeing the new Larchwood panels in our showroom agree with us that it is an outstanding product in terms of its quality and finish, but what makes it even better is its exceptional value for money. Retailing at only £240 per m², there simply isn’t another window shutter product of this quality on the market in the same price bracket.

There are of course other existing products that our competitors might purport to be similar (it is quite a lot to live up to after all) but by asking suppliers the right questions you will learn that many of these are manufactured using finger joints and joined laminated timber, meaning the quality of the wood is just not the same.

Features of the Larchwood will include an exciting new colour range (available in both standard paints and stains, with the ability to use custom colour matches should you wish.) There will be a choice of four different slat shapes; a non-twist core on its side stile (LVL) which prevents warping and most importantly no finger-joints or joined pieces of timber. It can be used for all standard windows, plus more unusual shapes and can have remote-controlled slats as an optional extra. It is an extremely hard-wearing wood, used across Europe for making joints, roof tiles and even the track surfaces of velodromes – guaranteed to last for years to come!
