Ernesto Ayala celebrated his store’s grand opening in March and utilized social networking sites to boost store visits.
“UFragTV actually plugged us on the internet by broadcasting live from our store during our grand opening,” says Ayala. “Along with a lot of feedback on Facebook and Twitter we actually met another gamer group that was watching at home looking for a tournament that ended up coming down to compete at our store.”
An avid gamer since the ‘80s, Ayala had worked in retail management for seven years and even ran a store for a competing retail gaming chain.
