Follow on Google News | Florida State Law Enforcement Agencies to Sign ESGR Statement of SupportThe Florida State Law Enforcement Agencies scheduled to Simultaneously Sign an Employee Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Statement of Support (SOS) pledging their commitment to the Guard and Reserve statewide on May 13, 2010
By: Jack Lott Phillip Speake, Chairman of the Florida ESGR, believes this is an extremely unique and important occasion and invites everyone to become involved in honoring the National Guard and Reserve and invites businesses and organizations to come out and join the State Law Enforcement Agencies and execute a SOS for their Companies. “Our nation must remember that we are living in a time of war. These brave men and women of the National Guard and Reserve, and their families, are sacrificing for all of us and deserve our support. This event has a significant double meaning, since the men and women of Florida’s law enforcement agencies who are offering their support are the very people who keep us secure at home. So the event scheduled for May 13th will also honor our local first responders, many of them members of the Guard and Reserve forces. I urge everyone across the state to come out and get involved in the day’s special activities.” ESGR is a Department of Defense organization and its committee members volunteer their time in support of the men and women of the Guard and Reserve, their families and employers. As the 1.3 million members of the National Guard and Reserve continue to perform an increasing number of unique missions within America’s borders as well as on the most dangerous battlefields around the world, ESGR will continue to be the resource for the employers of our citizen warriors.
