Band Performs at Florida Music Festival & Conference on Friday night, April 23rd

WHO: megaphone – Four-piece rock band from Orlando, FL; has opened for AC/DC, Crash Kings, the Joe Perry Project, Ace Frehley, and Paul Stanley; musical influences include Foo Fighters, Butch Walker, Jimmy Eat World, Led Zeppelin, and Cheap Trick. Additional performances by Vega Under Fire, Traverser, Awestruck, & Sound Cannon.

WHAT: The Annual Florida Music Festival & Conference will host 250 bands and be attended by 25,000 music fans from around the country. megaphone showcases at this 18+ show, which is open to the general public with advanced tickets available for only $10.

megaphone is a four-piece rock band with loud guitars, big drums, solid vocal harmonies, and hooks that stick to the side of your head. Based out of Orlando, FL megaphone is Matt Bloodwell (former drummer for Orlando band, Precious) on lead vocals and guitar, Paul Smith (former touring guitarist for 7 Mary 3 and Vonray) on lead guitar, James Woodrich (former bassist for My Hotel Year - Doghouse records) on bass, and Scott Smith (former drummer for Cori Yarckin) on drums. megaphone is a Rock Pink Roster Band, a 2-time winner of Orlando Weekly's best of Orlando rock/pop act, and has recently made multiple songs from their debut record “For Cryin’ Out Loud”, and their latest record “Exit Silent Mode” available for download and play on Rock Band 2 through the new Rock Band Network.
